Guidelines for Splendour Apartments (COVID-19)
Due to these unprecedented times we must take precaution while we are in public. The stated guidelines help prevent the spread of infection and protect everyone around you.
Maids
Maids will not be allowed during this covid situation. However, if someone have medical emergency kindly contact EC and take exception approval.
Guidelines for maids with exceptional approval scenarios:
⦁ Maid should only work in the approved flat and should not engage for works in any other flat
⦁ Mask and hand gloves are mandatory for maids at all times. Its resident’s responsibility
⦁ Maintain distance while they work.
⦁ Please provide sanitizer once they enter your house.
⦁ If u have kids or pets please don't allow them to roam while maid is working at your place
⦁ Instruct maids to leave the premises after the work and your maid should not participate in any discussions with other maids or group discussions. They should strictly avoid any contact with others at apartment
⦁ Resident must disclose the duration, how long domestic help is mandatory. And if they don't need maid they should discontinue.
⦁ If you notice any symptoms with your maid. Immediately inform the EC members and self-quarantine for 14 days and keep EC team updated on your health
⦁ Maid need to carry EC permission and when required or asked at gate need to showcase to avoid confusion.
Super market,Bakery, Medplus
⦁ Please wear a mask at all times when in public. According to a recent study, if everyone wore a mask, we could eliminate the spread of the virus
⦁ Maintain social distancing when in queue. A distance of 6 feet should be maintained at all time.
⦁ One member per family. and Only 3 members will be allowed inside super Market. Do not overcrowd the supermarket. If there are people in the supermarket wait outside for your turn following social distancing. and one member will be allowed at a time to Bakery and Medplus .
⦁ Please carry a sanitizer with you at all times. It's your best friend in times like these.
⦁ Do NOT overstock on essential products due to limited supply.
⦁ Please be quick at the supermarket as people are waiting and the more, they wait the more vulnerable they are to the virus.
⦁ It is a good idea to disinfectant your products after purchase with a disinfectant or leave them in the sun of sometime.
Security
⦁ Temperature reading and sanitization is mandated, please cooperate if there is any delay
⦁ No visitors are allowed during lockdown
⦁ Please carry your id card all time, display if asked by the security.
⦁ Please allow security to do their duty. If you have any concerns please report to EC formally and please do not argue with them any time.
⦁ If you notice any symptoms with the security, immediately report to EC team
⦁ Please note health of the support staff is very critical. Let’s treat their health as our own health and safety
Sanitization
Below are the sanitization guidelines
⦁ Sanitization will be carried out with chemical solution on alternate days, if needed...Priority is to cover the floor with confirmed flats with covid +ve
⦁ Other places, sanitization will be carried out based on the frequency deployed by EC team based on the need
⦁ Please be aware of the sanitization schedule and do not keep any of your stuff outside (like edible food, clothes etc)
⦁ Do not ask or demand the person to sanitize your flat. The solution being used is chemical and not to be used inside the flats.
Rythu Bazar
⦁ Information will be shared when the vegetable vendor visits the apartment through telegram notice board / My gate notification
⦁ Please follow social distancing at all time. Only one resident at a time at the stall for purchasing
⦁ Wait for your turn until the resident finishes the payment and leave from the stall
⦁ Try to be quick in purchasing the vegetables, as people are waiting and the more, they wait the more vulnerable they are to the virus
Home quarantine guidelines
Dear Residents,
Due to the present circumstances EC has come up with some guidelines for Home Quarantine. Please follow them and feel free to contact us for any concerns.
The purpose of quarantine during the current Covid-19 outbreak is to reduce transmission, separating contacts of covid-19 patients from community, monitoring contacts for development of sign and symptoms of Covid-19 and segregate potential carriers.
⦁ The recommended duration of quarantine is 14 days from the time of exposure.
⦁ Monitoring potential carriers for symptoms of covid -19 is essential to provide medical attention as soon as possible.
⦁ Stay in a well-ventilated single room, preferably with an attached or separate toilet.
⦁ Restrict movements to the house
⦁ Patients should use a triple layered medical mask (N95). This mask must be safely discarded after use or earlier if the mask is damaged or wet.
⦁ Do not throw the used mask in lifts, parks, homes, open dust bins as it can pose a potential health hazard to people who come in contact with such masks.
⦁ Always wash your hands before and after taking off the mask.
⦁ The patient must stay in a separate room and mustn’t have contact with people at home, especially the elderly and those with pre-existing health conditions that deal with the heart or the lungs.
⦁ Keeping the body hydrated is extremely important, drink lots of fluids and must practice breathing exercises.
⦁ Frequent handwashing with soap and water for at least 30 seconds and maintain an alcohol-based hand sanitizer where water is inadequate.
⦁ Monitor body temperature using a thermometer twice a day.
⦁ Clean and disinfect touched surfaces.
⦁ Clean the clothes and other linen used by the person separately using household detergent and dry.
⦁ Trained and authorized staff will collect waste from quarantined homes for proper disposal.
Household Members should use a separate bathroom. Memimize Visitors to house,the returnee should not interact with any visitors.
Office goers
⦁ All other precautions like Mask and sanitizing at the gate is a must.
⦁ In case of Car Pool it is advised not to have more than 2 people
⦁ In case of the office being lock down or declared as red zone for suspected cases resident to inform EC
Lifts
Guidelines for lift /elevator operation and usage
⦁ Practice social distancing
⦁ Do not enter when others are in the elevator
⦁ Do not let others enter when you have more than 1 person
⦁ Do not touch you face after contacting the elevator buttons, use elbow or objects which are sensitive to capacitive touch
⦁ Do not lean on the elevator walls
⦁ Refrain from talking in the elevator
⦁ With out proper mask, no one will be allowed in the lift
⦁ Supplies like water cans and milk may be transported in the passenger’s lift (which is not common). But please cooperate as, other lifts may not be working
Health assessment :
We have held a meeting within EC and Few Volunteers to analyze the level of preparedness and steps to be taken for the prevention and management of Novel Corona virus.
We would like to closely monitor the situation of covid cases and health of residents at splendour. We urge residents to come forward and report if you or your family members have symptoms like cough,cold,fever,loss of smell and taste. Your personal information will be secured and will not be published until the test is confirmed positive.
Few Points to Note :
1.We have requested a volunteers team with inhouse doctors who will answer your queries or primary support ( guidance ) with out any cost.
2.We urge residents to fill in the health assessment form. If you believe you have had a primary or secondary contact with an infected person within or outside splendour

3. Primary reason for doing is to support residents with guidance on how to approach, things to do as next steps etc. as we all do not have a doctor in our families
4. It is also to guide you to the nearest medical facility if the need for testing arises
5. The guidance is to help you with instructions regarding hygiene,self isolation and other safety procedures to be followed to keep yourself and others safe.
